Aubrey and Brenton got married in a romantic ballroom venue in Garner, North Carolina on October 12th 2013. I had so much fun planning Aubrey's flowers and watching her vision evolve. As a hair stylist and makeup artist Aubrey has a keen eye for color and texture. She envisioned shades of coral and pink to accent her bridal party's navy attire. We went with a luxurious mixture of garden roses and roses for the bouquets and roses with greenery for the boutonnieres. For her aisle, Aubrey wanted tall dramatic branches surrounded by rose petals and candles. The back drop to the ceremony was a breathtaking staircase we lined with candles and vases filled with dahlias. For the reception we repurposed the dahlia vases and tall branch arrangements on the tables. We also added low pink carnation spheres to keep the conversations going at dinner. Aubrey wanted her bouquet to be a complete surprise, I love that! Seeing her face when I delivered her bouquet right before she walked down the aisle was such a special moment. The entire wedding party was stunning. I hope everyone enjoys looking at these amazing photographs by Nancy Ray Photography as much as I have!
